This allows you to independently maintain a healthy body without the constant supervision of a therapist.

Greg Cassap BA (Soc), BSc (PT/OT).

Greg graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Medicine (combined degree: physical and occupational therapy) after completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at UBC in 1980.

Since 1983 Greg has practiced as a physical therapist primarily in orthopaedic (musculoskeletal) private practice, treating patients of all ages. In late 1990 he opened the Steveston Village Orthopaedic and Sports Therapy Clinic. For almost a decade (1994-2003) Greg also owned and operated three functional rehabilitation programs provided on a contract basis to the Workers’ Compensation Board (now WorkSafeBC) as part of the Board’s preferred provider network of return-to-work programs.

Greg has been an actively involved member of his professional association, the Physiotherapy Association of BC, and served a full term of six years as an elected Board member of the BC College of Physical Therapists.

Greg is an experienced and skilled manual therapist with a strong background in active exercise therapy (sports, post-surgical, and core alignment adjustment & stabilization instruction) and physical-functional rehabilitation (ADL – activities of daily living – and occupational rehab).

Born and raised in Vancouver, Greg feels fortunate in being able to continue to call this city “home”. Although always physically active, he came late to athletic pursuits but came to love running and cycling; now, brisk walking as well as indoor and fair weather cycling.
